Dayton Online
Our Goal: To implement an online resource hub where residents and visitors to the Dayton Region can connect with groups, places, things to do and things to get involved with that keep many others satisfied with living here. Rather than simply provide links to other websites, we hope to offer more personal insights to our region’s assets by publishing articles written by those who are already very connected to these various things.
Why this Project? The Dayton Region is full of great places to visit, things to do and groups to get involved with, but sometimes it is difficult for many people to get connected with those things. Sometimes it is due to lack of information, and many times people need to hear more from people that have experienced those things themselves. Our project is important because the Dayton Region struggles at attracting and retaining young talent – a demographic that is more mobile than any generation before it. Our hope is that we can get more people connected to the Dayton Region and thus be more willing to stay and contribute to the vibrancy of our community.
