Youth Programs
Whats Next?
We are preparing to do a pilot survey to ask the Youth in Dayton what activities they are involved in and what activities they would be interested in joining. We hope to run this pilot survey in two of the City Of Dayton Youth And Recreation Services facilities. Our hope is to have the full survey ready for distribution into Dayton City Schools and the community by the end of April 2010.

Our Goal: To engage the youth in Dayton, specifically middle and high school age, in programs that are already in existence while also creating new ways for them to get involved.
Why this Project? There is a strong need for the youth of Dayton to be aware of activities that are available for them to be involved with. We also want to find areas of interest/activities that may be lacking in the Dayton area that the youth want to be involved in. We feel getting the inactive kids off the streets and away from areas of crime into positive activities can help them grow as students and become socially active/responsible adults. We want to help strengthen the community bond with our youth.
