Laura Estandia :: Executive Director
Laura Estandia is a 2010 University of Dayton graduate, and it was during her time at UD that she fell in love with Dayton. She stayed in the region for an internship after graduation, and it was her passion for Dayton that drew her to the UpDayton Summit in 2011. She became the Chair of the Creative Communities group, and in June of 2012, she and the team completed the “Unifying the Divide Bridge Paint Project.” She is living proof of talent that has been attracted and retained.

Estandia gained experience in the non-profit sector at the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio. She also works as a copywriter/editor for the local graphic design firm, Schlegel Creative Resources. Estandia is eager to use her work and leadership experience to take UpDayton to new heights and make Dayton a better place to be.

Kelsey Loughman :: Event Planning and Community Outreach Intern
Originally from Chicago, Kelsey came to the region to attend the University of Dayton. As a current undergraduate student, she is majoring in Political Science with minors in International Studies and English. Experiences with Dayton Civic Scholars at the Fitz Center for Leadership and UD Center for Social Concern have grown her love for Dayton. Desiring to further her skills and participate in regional growth, Kelsey was thrilled at the opportunity to work with UpDayton. She hopes her time as an intern can support the mission of the UpDayton to revitalize the region and support the growth of young professionals.
