The Idea: What historic city’s early prosperity was built on manufacturing jobs, is home to the birthplace of a transportation industry, and has one of the country’s largest airbases? Give up? Ipswitch Australia! I’m not saying that a city’s economic prosperity can be based on a formula for increasing economic activity, but I find the similarities between Dayton and Ipswitch quite interesting. At the very least I encourage people to peruse their “roadmap” to become a leader in Economic Development, Residential Development, Education and Cultural Lifestyle at http://www.mostlivable.org/general/ipswich-overview.html
