Title: Dayton is for the Dogs
Author: Sam Kligerman
The Idea: How about taking over an unused land plot in downtown and building a fence around it? It can become a dog park for the dog owners in the area. If the local gov. doesn’t want to spend the money to maintain it, donations and year-round admission could be used to raise money. What are the benefits you say? How about a new community gathering space, a revitalized chuck of Dayton soil, and a new added sense of security with Daytonians walking their dogs in the area?
