Their design will be painted on the pedestrian bridge that crosses over US 35 and connects the South Park and the Oregon District.

“The Dayton Wags received an overwhelming number of votes from the community. They were so excited to have been selected,” shared Laura Estandia, updayton Creative Communities project leader. “We can’t wait until we get to take the design from paper to pavement.”

On Saturday, May 5th the updayton Creative Communities team will host a paint-by-number extravaganza to bring the Dayton Wags design to life on the bridge. Creative Communities’ project partner, CityWide Development, is lending a hand with financial support to buy paint supplies. An aerial photo of the completed paint project will be provided by Perfect Perspectives Aerial and posted on the updayton website once the project is completed.

“It’s been an amazing year of effort on this project,” Laura beamed with pride. “I am so proud of our team and can’t wait to celebrate the successful completion of this project on May 5th.”
